Right off the bat I feel as though it's a represantation of how other planets, in this case not a planet but the moon, pity our planet in it's terminal state. The Earth is dying and new our left with descisions, whether or not to accept it or to change it, but in the end, no matter what is we choose, the Earth is doomed and it's demise is inevitable. The moon is displayed as bare, naked and pure, like a natural women, it is uncontaminated by human life, with long, uncut hair, this shows that the moon is natural and untouched by the destruction of the human species. But with the mechinary based gears behind her head and feet forshadow that perhaps the moon is next, when the Earth is nothing but a wasteland, we will find a new planet, or in this case, the moon and possibly destroy it as well. The fact that these gears are behind her, and don't seem to have been seen by her give the impression that although she may pity the humans and their dying world, she is unaware that she is next.

But that is is only my interpretation, it is a very beautiful picture <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> I think it's absolutely lovely, the lack of color just adds to how natural the moon is, and the small shines and sparkles that surround her are very nice little details, this is a gorgeous picture.
